Premier’s Science and Research Fund (PSRF)

The objective of the PSRF is to build the State’s research capabilities in areas of strategic importance and to encourage collaboration across disciplines in applying research to achieve important development outcomes for South Australia.

South Australian Research Fellowship

The intent of this initiative is to expand the State’s research talent and to support world-class research leadership. The Fellowship also targets research activities and outcomes that are of direct strategic benefit to South Australian industry and the State’s economy.

Cooperative Research Centre Assistance Program

The Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) program is a Commonwealth Government initiative that aims to boost world-class research and convert Australian scientific innovations into successful new products, services and technologies, making our industries more efficient, productive and competitive.

South Australian Research Capability Directory

The Research Capability Directory showcases South Australia’s extensive research capability and infrastructure. The Directory provides an overview of the major research infrastructure within the state, and highlights the connections between research and industry. 

Professional Development Research Scholarships

Scholarships are aimed at early and mid-career science, technology, engineering and mathematics researchers to enable them to build their professional reputation via exposure to the international research community.

Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Skills Strategy

This initiative is aimed at increasing the number of people taking up STEM occupations to meet the growing needs of our local industries, including mining and defence.
